Murat BAKIR

Murat Bakır, born in 1978 in the Nizip district of Gaziantep, began his education in Gaziantep and completed his high school education at Bayraktar Anatolian High School. He started his higher education at Akdeniz University in the field of Hotel Management and later earned his bachelor’s degree from the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Business, thereby strengthening his academic background in business and management. In order to further his academic development, he attended various training programs in corporate governance and executive management at Boğaziçi University, gaining competencies in modern management techniques, strategic planning, and institutionalization. Murat Bakır began his professional career at Antepsan Kuruyemiş, where he played an active role from the company’s establishment and has been serving as the Chairman of the Board since its foundation in 2008. He has extensive experience particularly in the areas of nuts, confectionery, local products, and foreign trade. Bakır speaks English fluently and has an intermediate level of German, and he actively participates in licensed tennis and swimming outside of his professional life. He is married and has two children.
